Script file encoding issue when BD is updated

Good day,

I have start using dbdeploy for our stuff for about 6 month now work perfecly for us. One point we have... in our scripts sometime we have accent caractere like "é è" in french. if I run my script from SSMS it's OK.

But when it's execute from DBDeploy it's a weird caracter that get display...

Do you have any hint, on how to debug encoding between the time the file get read and the moment the file is write in the update files, so i can check the encoding file type ?

This is fixed. As long as your script files are saved in the proper encoding (UTF-8), you'll get the characters you expect.

Note that VS doesn't always use Unicode when saving files, so the problem could be there.

The IoProxy is where the encoding was applied.

I'll ensure that the output scripts are UTF-8 encoded.
